You don’t have to craft it initially though will need to repair it later on in the game. The Spider Man Classic Suit will be the one you start the game in. The Damaged Classic Suit has no associated Suit Power. You can switch back to this battle-worn variant at any time. The Classic Suit given to you at the start of the game will get damaged early on. It causes your Focus Meter to replenish automatically, allowing you to perform Finisher moves in quick succession. The Suit Power for the Advanced Suit is Battle Focus. It costs 1 Backpack Token, and 2 Crime Tokens. You’ll be lead through how to craft it via a tutorial. The Advanced Suit is acquired naturally after a couple of hours into the story.
